I hope that everyone feels refreshed and ready to begin a great new school year at Swans Creek!  I am happy to back this year working mostly with groups of kindergarten and first grade ESOL students.  We will begin the year with basic assessments that will help guide placement and teaching. If you are a parent of a kindergarten student, you can give your child support in learning the letters of the alphabet and their corresponding sounds. Please be sure that you read to or with your child each night, too.  You can help by asking questions and talking about events that happen in the books that you read together.  Your support cannot be underestimated, for it is together that we can make the most difference.  Thank you for your help!
